I have been rubbish recently! I still haven’t written my thank you letters from Christmas, my desk at home is a shambles, I haven’t made any jewellery in weeks, I still haven’t sorted out the pictures in the house, I haven’t cleared the garden and I haven’t been writing on my blog!
It’s not as if I haven’t been doing things that I could write about I’ve been up to plenty of things but I have just not managed to get around to writing about them!
So here in bullet form is a quick up-date since my last post:
- I now really hate snow
- I have FINISHED my knitted house doorstop
- I love Billy Connolly! – I would repeat a few of his jokes but they were a bit rude
- I hate HMV and if you ever get offered ‘standing’ tickets for the Hammersmith Apollo DO NOT GO!!!!
- I’ve eaten some great food in Bristol – La Tasca (50% off ), Piccolino, Carluccios (BOGOF) & Coal (£10 off)!
- I went to the Wool Sanctuary’s Knit Club – loved it so much I’m going again!
- We’ve had Christmas #3, 4 & 5! We are done with Christmases for now!
- I went to Stich N Bitch at The Tobacco Factory
- I won vouchers for Giraffe on Twitter
- We’ve had our loft fitted out as a storage space
- I’ve got a bra that fits properly!
- I made a lovely Delia carrot cake for Mr Sparkles
- We’ve been to Corfe Castle for Mr Sparkles Burfday Day Out
- I have started and almost finished my Opal wrap from Winter Blooms by Kim Hargreaves
- I have been amazed by the random acts of kindness that exist in the world.
And that brings us back up to today! Tonight I am off to the Wool Sanctuary again to attend a Knit School session on textured knitting.
Over the next couple of days I am going to make a conscience effort to ‘blog out’ some of the above bullet points for your reading pleasure.
